Self-confessed studio geek with a penchant for vintage synths, Tara Busch released her debut album, ‘Pilfershire Lane’, via Tummy Touch Records last month. That love of old analogue sounds is evident on the album, with plenty of aged machines and boxes dragged in to the studio for the recording.
Of course, plenty of people like old stuff, it doesn’t mean they can write songs. Luckily, Tara can. And with a liberal dose of psychedelia, she crafts gorgeous, layered pop songs that command attention and, like all the best music, reveal hidden depths with repeat listens.
